Selling Instructions & Quality Guidelines

Thank you for choosing to sell your pre-owned games to Apex Play Store! To ensure a smooth transaction and guarantee your maximum cash payout, please read our strict quality and packaging guidelines below.

1. How the Trade-In Process Works

  • Search & Quote: Find your game in our Trade-In catalog and lock in your estimated payout price.
  • Free Doorstep Pickup: Schedule a convenient pickup time. Our logistics partner will collect the game directly from your address.
  • Quality Check (QC): Once the game reaches our facility, our technicians will inspect the disc and case.
  • Instant Payout: If the game passes QC, your money is instantly transferred to your bank account via IMPS.

Strict Quality Guidelines & Deductions

The initial quote provided on our website assumes the game is in perfect, complete condition. Failure to meet these standards will result in automatic payout deductions or rejection.

  • Missing Cover Art (₹150 Deduction): Games sent in blank plastic cases, generic boxes, or missing the official printed paper insert will face a strict ₹150 deduction from the final payout.
  • Damaged Cases (₹50 Deduction): If the original plastic case is cracked, shattered, or severely damaged, a ₹50 deduction will be applied for replacement costs.
  • Scratched or Unreadable Discs (Rejected): All discs undergo a console load test. Discs with deep scratches, rings, or those that fail to install/read will be rejected and returned to the seller.

2. Safe Packaging Instructions

You are responsible for safely packaging the game for transit. Plastic game cases are fragile and can easily shatter if thrown by couriers.

  • Use Bubble Wrap or Newspaper (Optional): Wrap the game case in at least two layers of bubble wrap or newspaper.
  • Cardboard Box or Mailer (Optional): Place the wrapped game inside a sturdy corrugated cardboard box or a bubble-lined poly mailer.
  • Leave Unsealed: Leave the box/mailer unsealed until the courier arrives so they can quickly verify the disc and cover art before packing it.
  • Do not ship loose discs: A disc without a case will almost certainly break during transit and will be immediately rejected.

3. Rejections & Returns

If your game fails our Quality Check (e.g., it is heavily scratched and unreadable), we will contact you via WhatsApp or Email. You will have the option to have the game shipped back to you. Please note that return shipping costs for rejected items may apply.

4. Payment Timeline

Once the package is delivered to our facility, the QC process takes 12-24 hours. Upon successful verification, your payment will be processed immediately via IMPS to the bank account details provided during the sell request. Bank transfers usually reflect within minutes, but can sometimes take up to 24 hours depending on banking networks.
